RISSC-Lab is a laboratory made up of researchers of Department of Physical Sciences - University of Naples "Federico II". Its responsible is Aldo Zollo, professor of seismology.

RISSC-Lab carries out research and technological development activities in the following fields, on the basis of projects financed by national and international organisations:

• Theoretical and experimental seismology with applications to seismic monitoring
• Reconstruction of high resolution 3D images of the subsoil for basic and industrial research
• Simulation of seismic motion scenarios for danger assessment and seismic engineering
• Training and dissemination on earthquakes and seismic risk
