Activities:

Shane’s research principally lies in examining whether earthquake nucleation features predetermine an earthquakes final size. Numerical modeling of earthquake rupture (both dynamic and kinematic) are being used in this study. He is also looking at creating seismic profiles from earthquake records. (Jan.2005 - Jan.2008).
