RISSC-Lab is a laboratory made up of researchers of Physics Department - University of Naples Federico II. The responsible is Aldo Zollo, professor of seismology at he University.
RISSC-Lab carries out research and technological development activities in the following fields, on the basis of projects financed by national and international organisations:
* Theoretical and experimental seismology with applications to seismic monitoring
* Reconstruction of high resolution 3D images of the subsoil for basic and industrial research
* Simulation of seismic motion scenarios for danger assessment and seismic engineering
* Training and dissemination on earthquakes and seismic risk
